Have you ever been looking for rain boots for women that are functional,
have no toxic chemical smell, good craftsmanship, affordable and most importantly for a woman,
fashionable.
One of my big annoying points about buying rain boots are that most of them have a very large
toe box which makes it look huge and massive. Usually with cheaper style of rain boots that are made in
china, they have this awful toxic smell about them. It usually takes a while for the smell to get used to.
Sometimes, I would put some deodorant inside them to mask the smell. A lot of them also had glue spots around
the heel and toe area which indicates that the shoe would not last very long.
Whenever you buy rain boots, you need to make sure that it would last in any conditions and is
waterproof. Very often, during wet and rainy weather, the glue won’t hold the soles properly and make water
flow into it. Try to find boots that are double stitched and glued together. This would make it last longer
and prevent water from coming in.
Also, nagging point with most rain boots are that they are very hard to fit into. Normally, it
would take me about five to ten minutes to properly fit it into my feet. It is best to buy rain boots that
have a decent size calf room and allow some air to flow through. If you don’t allow air to flow in, then
moisture and sweat will build up in your foot, causing your feet to have an unpleasant smell to
it.
Here are some tips about choosing the best rain boots for women:
- If you return any boots online, be sure that you do not choose incorrect size as an excuse.
Usually they will not reimburse you for shipping. Instead, tell them the product doesn’t match the product
the description. If you do this, you would normally get a credit for shipping charges.
- If you are buying retro birdie rain boots, make sure that you order a size
smaller than what you normally buy. For example, if you’re size 8, buy a retro birdie rain boot size 7. You
may notice that the toe and ankle bits are way too big if you buy a normal size. Just like with any clothing
or shoe, go to your department store like, Target, and try them on.
Zetta Tall Rain Boots – Most of the boots will normally fit your size.
However, if you have skinny legs, the boots might have a wider calf than you expected. These boots are well
made and have an adjustment buckle on the side to help you fit in.
Women’s Zulima Bias Plaid Rain Boots – These cool looking boots are available in multi-colors
and have a rubber upper with a mixture of rubber and textile compound outsoles.
